KCC GLASS Corporation has published its first ESG (Environment, social and Governance) report to show its commitment for transparent communication of sustainable management initiatives and performance with stakeholders since its launch in January 2020.

With the publication of the first ESG report, KCC GLASS Corporation will disclose information regarding its efforts toward ESG management and strive for a global level of sustainable management. KCC GLASS Corporation has been actively promoting ESG management since its establishment by joining the UN Global Compact (UNGC) to participate in the UN SDGs.

The report was formed based on newly established ESG management strategies. It has been prepared in accordance with global standard provided by the GRI Standards, an international guideline for disclosing information, ISO 26000 standard and UN SDGs. The report contains KCC GLASS Corporation’s detailed future plans and its achievements on the categories of Environment, social and Governance.

Notably, KCC GLASS Corporation’s various activities for minimizing environmental impacts and R&D for producing eco-friendly products are transparently disclosed. As for major achievements, △ reduction of air pollution through an installation of air pollution prevention facility, △ installation of solar power facilities on the roof of the business site to utilize idle space and △ obtainment of Global Recycled Standard (GRS) were introduced. Aside from these, corporate social responsibility activities with the vision of and the company’s efforts to promote product quality and safety were also mentioned.
