Yeoju Plant R&D
Yeoju Technology Research Center oversees research and development of glass, KCC GLASS Corporation’s most representative product. It develops new products and process technologies for major products manufactured in Yeoju Plant i.e., architectural and automotive plate glass and coating glass. It also conducts research in application of new types of electric vehicle/industrial glass.
Asan Plant R&D
Asan Technology Research Center oversees research and development of PVC flooring materials, architectural laminating film and VCM film for home appliances. It undertakes R&D on new products and production methods regarding its major manufacturing products – i.e., architectural, bus and vessel flooring materials; PVC fittings, doors, door frames, laminating film for furniture; and VCM film which is surface covering for home appliances such as refrigerators and washing machines. It also conducts research in developing eco-friendly materials and providing applications based on customers’ perspective.
Jeonui R&D Center
Jeonui R&D Center is working on automotive safety glass with the focus on the development of new products and processes for automotive laminated glass (windshield, rear glass, side glass, sunroof) and tempered glass (rear glass, side glass, sunroof) which are the major production line of the Jeonui Plant. The design and development process is conducted in line with new model launching of our partners.
