KCC GLASS Corporation Flaunts a New Design for SUP Sense Tile, a Commercial PVC Tile
KCC GLASS Corporation has renewed its SUP Sense Tile, a premium PVC floor tile that reflects the latest interior trends in its design. SUP Sense Tile is an LVT (luxury vinyl tile) that suffers nearly no deformity due to heat and humidity since its manufacturing uses a special method. The product is excellently scratch-resistant and durable as a special UV coating has been used on its surface. It is not easily dirtied, either. Easy installation and a variety of design patterns such as wood, concrete, marble, and carpet enable it to create one’s desired atmosphere that suits one’s taste and purpose. Thus, the product is frequently used in commercial facilities that sustain heavy pedestrian traffic such as large stores, department stores, office buildings, and restaurants. For this renewal, the company has come up with total of 62 design patterns by adding richer colors and more diverse patterns in step with the trend in interior decoration that is committed to creating unique spaces. Notably, a wide size has been added to the wood pattern tile, which has a rendered texture and color that closely resemble those of real tree wood. This delivers the value of a premium product by fashioning the natural texture of hardwood. The lineup is completed with distinctive wood patterns including not only the default natural wood, but also vintage wood and painted wood. SUP Sense Tile, which has obtained an Eco-Friendly Certification from Ministry of Environment, is free from harmful substances or worries about sick building syndrome. In a bid to meet the ever-tightening local and international environmental regulatory standards, KCC GLASS Corporation moves aggressively to make eco-friendly products. Thus, the company has acquired the eco-friendly certification for all its light-duty pedestrian traffic PVC flooring materials (those used where people keep their shoes off).

KCC GLASS Corporation has earned the top honor for five straight years in the category of residential flooring materials in the survey for 2020 K-BPI (Korea Brand Power Index). KCC GLASS Corporation has proven itself the most recognizable flooring brand for consumers, as its flooring brand ‘SUP’ has clinched the top honor for five straight years as completed by this year‘ s survey which was supervised by Korea‘ s Most Admired Companies (KMAC). In particular, the company demonstrated competitive advantage through the full range of the power of brand loyalty such as brand image, purchase probability, and preference. It is believed that the company got a high score for its reliable products, because they came from a lineup of highly functional products that focused on the safety and health of consumers. The SUP lineup is divided into sheet flooring and wood flooring. Sheet flooring has enhanced stability and eco-friendliness for users by applying cypress oil and anti-slip feature and acquiring (as the industry’ s first) the Atopy Safety Certification. Total scores are graded by conducting one-on-one interviews of males and females aged between 15 and 60 who live in Seoul or six metropolitan cities in South Korea to assess their brand awareness and loyalty.
2020-03-31KCC GLASS Corporation Launches E-GLASS HD Grey as a Low-E Glass
KCC GLASS Corporation has released E-GLASS HD, a highly durable single Low-E glass. KCC GLASS Corporation is the first South Korean company to present a grey, highly durable Low-E glass, which is not an ordinary type of Low-E glass. E-GLASS HD Grey is a product that adds sturdy durability to excellent thermal insulation and esthetic boost, which creates an uplifting appearance for buildings. The product is also available in the color grey, which is favored as the exterior color of buildings. Mostly for high-rise buildings, low-emissivity glass that registers high energy efficiency enjoys the spotlight as an exterior finish. Stepping forward in this light, the product reflects the latest glass color trend that has chosen diversification to deliver more luxurious façades. Considering that transparent, silver, blue, and grey are counted as the most preferred exterior glass colors in the construction market, the company has decided to provide a spur for its advancement into the market for functional glass for commercial buildings. E-GLASS HD is a highly functional Low-E brand from KCC that has remained as a best-seller since it was first released in 2014. It is a hybrid product that combines the advantages of hard Low-E glass, which is easy to handle and store as the coating layer on its surface is not vulnerable to damage, with those of soft Low-E glass, which registers excellent thermal insulation performance. The product is described as having established a new standard for Low-E double glazing by not only rendering beautiful colors but also demonstrating excellent thermal insulation and economic benefits. The E-GLASS HD series keeps its coating layer unchanged through long-term storage as it demonstrates excellent moisture resistance and is easy to wash as it boasts a sturdier coating layer than ordinary types of soft Low-E glass. Moreover, the older ordinary types of Low-E glass have to deliberately remove the coating layer from the edge of the glass so that sealant may attach well in processing double-glazing glass units, which is not the case with E-GLASS HD. The extraordinary improvement in processability has met a favorable reaction from the market.
